Hook'd this weekend!
Hookd is the freshest after-hours club to grace London’s gay scene and is taking it by storm. Bringing hard house back to the scene, which has long since been missed by many and unheard by others.

Hookd will be held at its amazing home, The Arches in London Bridge for regular parties, catering for all who need a regular fix of fresh new Hard House / Trance, Bounce and Classic Anthems. Hookd welcomes its latest addition to the team, none other than Pete Wardman, who along with all of the other Hookd residents and guest DJ’s will be taking each clubber on a musical journey of delectable tunes designed to make you dance with a smile on your face.

Hookd recognises that people know what they want when they go clubbing. Its time for us to lead the way again, and as with the rest of the music scene, we need to give our clubbers what they want and let the djs show them what is happening out there, not tell them what they should be enjoying!

This is why Hookd has taken Pete Wardman, Andy Farley, Ian M and Karim on as residents. These DJ’s are still leading the way in the Hard House music scene and cutting their own tracks for their adoring fans. Some of them even mixing new tracks just for Hookd.

Many talented djs, graced the decks for the first Hookd which was held in the memory of an all time favourite DJ, Tony De Vit, on July 27th 2008. This amazing night pulled in guests from all over Europe. This special event had nearly 500 guests dancing to the tunes that he created throughout his musical career. It also proved to be the most popular TDV Tribute of the year which was endorsed by the presence of Tony’s family who travelled all the way from Kidderminster.

Unlike most other clubs on the gay scene, Hookd is a club for the masses from all walks of life and also gives back to the gay scene. We did this by raising money for charity from the last event and we plan to do that for every single Hookd in future. We feel that we shouldn’t profit and line our pockets when there are fellow gay people out there living homeless, addicted to drugs and not receiving any HIV treatment or counselling. Hookd was born solely for the love of music not profit.

The next party is Sunday morning at 6am on the 2nd November and will welcome hard house supremo, Pete Wardman. We also see the return of Andy Farley, Karim and Mark Jewell plus 2 superb djs, Little Miss Natalie from Manchester and Tidy DJ, Sam Townend to start the night off.

There will also be a second room which has recently been refitted with a state of the art lighting rig with 4 full colour spectrum lasers. This room will host fresh Tech House and progressive sounds bang up to date, from Fidel, Gary H, Faye Lanson, Simon Wallis and new dj, Joel Atunes to provide a more relaxed alternative to the main room

We look forward to seeing you all there for a night of stunning music and we guarantee you will leave with a smile on your faces.

Stay Hookd Guys!!
